Just a quick one, I’m busy being poor
Please Sir! Can I have some more...
Food & Fuel banker maketh a proper Tory W*nker,
Beginning:
Will my wages go up? No.
Will my taxes go up? Yes.
Will the cost of living go up? Yes.
Fuel? Yep.
Food? Yep.
Will we all struggle to get on in life? Yes.
'Wow, that's brilliant! Where do I sign?'
'Just here... under the word mug.'
Ending:
We're all f*cked.
That's the gist of if anyway. That's all you need to know. Eleven years! Eleven long f*cking years of Tory austerity, cuts and privileged w*nkers swinging their balls around, Patel, Cameron, Rishi, Johnson. Getting off on poverty porn much like the groomed middle classes who have been conditioned to punch down instead of up. Blaming those who 'spunk their benefits' on highly taxable goods, rather than those who don't even bother to pay their taxes at all.
I haven’t written for a while, for which I apologise, much like the majority of the country I've been slightly preoccupied with trying to survive. Even though I'd say I'm quite fortunate compared to most, times be hard. With the Tories still refusing to steer this ship away from the iceberg of foreseeable and more importantly, preventable, chaos, most of us have no choice but to tighten up our purse strings. That is, of course, if you're lucky enough to have a purse to begin with.
I'm sick of people who have never had to budget for anything in their life, telling those who think of nothing else how it should be done.
To deal with the rising cost of living, Rishi Sunak, aka streaky dick splat, has rather 'generously' provided the whole of the country with a loan they didn't ask for. Rather than targeting support to those who desperately need it. This is just not enough and a prime example of how the Conservative Party see things. People are already living with debt, they don't need a 'loan' they need wages that match inflation, they need businesses to pay their taxes, they need a wealth tax and they need a Government that doesn't divvy out fistful of Taxpayer money to their crony mates.
So, as mentioned, I've been rather distracted. Trying to figure out how my partner and I are going to pay the mortgage as well as childcare despite that fact we both work full time. However, there was one thing in the news recently that I couldn't ignore, and couldn't not rant about.
Obviously I have a mortgage cause I work really hard, unlike some people who can't manage their money I only go to Starbucks once a week and I use my 24hours wisely. Plus I use my parents Netflix account like a sensible person. Guess what? When you work hard it pays off. I have a mortgage and it's got nothing do to with having had to wait for a couple of relatives to die in order to afford any kind of deposit. We can just ignore that sad fact.
In case you missed the sarcasm, I can confirm for you now that I'm proper pissed off. Pissed off with the media especially, playing up to the 'stop being poor' mentality. 'If your homeless just buy a house'. It's all carefully calculated coverage, when times are hard, they wheel out the same old narrative and start blaming the poor for being poor. It's the Elite spinning it yet again to suit themselves. This is what they do.
I'm sure by now you all know the story I'm referring to. Kirstie Allsopp. Cough cough. Anyone who genuinely thinks that way needs a serious reality check.
